We are a brand and design consultancy based in Warsaw with over 10 years of experience in creating complex visual identity systems. We have created branding solutions for the National Museum in Warsaw and Warsaw Public Transport. We have a rich portfolio of work with an institutional client, both in the public and private sectors.

The scope of our activities is very wide, from branding, through editorial design, posters, exhibition design and navigation systems, to the design and implementation of mobile applications and websites. We provide a team of experienced professionals in the field of strategy, web development, photography, animation and related fields.

Rafał Benedek
DESIGNER / PARTNER
Graphic Designer and creative director based in Warsaw and New York. Rafal graduated from the MA Graphic Design course at the London College of Communication, with Paul McNeil (MuirMcNeil) as the lead tutor. He collaborated with Beam agency in London and Brody Associates in Berlin.
Filip Zagórski
DESIGNER / PARTNER
Graduated with honours from the Warsaw Academy of Fine Arts, Faculty of Graphic Arts and IUNA University of Arts in Buenos Aires. Filip has been working as a designer and creative director for over 15 years. He lectured on visual communication in Mexico, India, China, UAE, Spain, and currently teaches in the School of Form SWPS University in Warsaw.
Małgorzata Śmigla
GRAPHIC DESIGNER
Graduate of the Graphic Design course at the Design Department of the Academy of Fine Arts in Katowice. She is interested in typography and font design.
Maximilian Herbst
FRONT-END DEVELOPER
Creative Front-End developer with over 10 years of experience, a graduate of computer science. Websites built by him have been recognised by leading web reviews such as AWWWards and CSSDesignAwards. He runs his own digital studio MB/MH, together with Marcin Benedek. MB/MH is regularly collaborating with Type2. When not coding, Maximilian spends most of his time writing music for his band, The Sky Is.
Marcin Benedek
DESIGNER, FRONT-END DEVELOPER
Graphic designer passionate about all creative work. He studied Sociology as well as Cinematography and Photography in Katowice. He runs his own digital studio MB/MH, together with Max Herbst, where he designs and sometimes also codes websites. MB/MH is regularly collaborating with Type2.
Blażej Górnicki
MOTION DESIGNER
The early days of crafted MTV openers and DIY 90’s skate videos made me realize the existence of motion graphics. The fascination in sculpting moving images has stayed with me ever since and have taken me on a long journey through many sub-genres of motion design. Over time, filming, editing, compositing, post-production as well as 3D graphics and 3D mapping became my daily tools of expression.

Our studio is regularly awarded in graphic competitions, and our projects are published in the Polish and foreign trade press.
Warsaw Design LAB
WDL is an independent school of graphic design and visual communication that we have established in cooperation with Rene Wawrzkiewicz. The idea of the school is to combine the transfer of practical knowledge, professional skills and real experience and address real needs of designers working in Poland and Europe.
Warsaw Design Lab is a set of independent courses dedicated to various areas of visual communication such as visual identities, branding, typeface design, web design, editorial design, poster, illustration, and motion graphics.
